How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account in the app: go to Settings, select Request account deletion, and type DELETE to confirm. Some requests are reviewed before the deletion is completed. You can also reach out to us at support@askclara.com.
Deleting your account cancels your subscription, and fees already paid aren’t refunded (see our Terms of Use). Your conversations with Clara are permanently erased.
Certain health records, such as lab results, clinical notes, and consent records, may be kept for the period required by HIPAA and state medical-record laws, even after your account is deleted.
